Automatic Feeder System – automated feeding made easy
Transform your feeder into an automated feeding system in just a few simple steps. This prevents long feeding breaks and uncontrolled overeating – ensuring horse-friendly hay feeding, less work, and more relaxed feeding times. Your horse benefits from a natural feeding rhythm, and you save valuable time every day.
Functions at a glance
The automatic feeder system enables timed opening and closing of feeders and hay boxes. It is suitable for both our models and self-built feeders or feeders from other manufacturers. The only requirement is a feeder or box with a lid.
Installation is straightforward and completed in just a few steps. The integrated 24-hour timer allows individual opening and closing times to be set. The minimum switching interval is 30 minutes. In addition, a manual mode is available, allowing the feeder to be opened or closed at any time, independently of the schedule.
Flexible Power Supply
The automatic system operates with a 12-volt operating voltage, making it ideal for autonomous use with a car battery or a photovoltaic system. With a power consumption of only 10 watts during the opening and closing process, energy consumption is extremely low. Alternatively, the system can also be operated optionally via a 230-volt power supply unit.
Safe and durable
The lid is opened by a powerful linear actuator that reliably moves lid weights up to 25 kg. Closing occurs solely due to the lid's own weight. This prevents crushing or injury hazards from an actively closing drive.
Electronics and mechanics are splash-proof according to IP54 and should be installed under a roof or cover for a long service life. All components are developed with high-quality standards, carefully assembled by hand, and thoroughly tested before shipment.
Scope of delivery
The automatic feeder system is available in a one-piece or two-piece design. A connection cable for battery operation is included. A 230-volt power supply unit can be ordered optionally.
One-piece or two-piece design – what's the difference?
The Tima timer control is available in a one-piece and a two-piece design. Both variants offer the same functions – the difference lies in the construction and installation options.
One-piece design
In the one-piece variant, the timer control and lifting mechanism form a compact unit. All components are integrated into one housing and are mounted directly on the feeder.
Advantage: The compact design allows for particularly easy and space-saving installation.
Two-piece design
The two-piece variant consists of two separate components: the lifting unit and the control unit. The lifting unit is mounted directly on the feeder, while the control unit can be attached independently in any location. Both units are connected to each other via the included 3-meter connection cable.
Advantage: The control unit can be flexibly mounted outside the stable or at a comfortable operating height. This makes settings and manual operation easily accessible at all times without having to go directly to the feeder.
