In the timed version, a drop-down floor is integrated inside the hay dispenser. This divides the hay dispenser into two portions and can be automatically triggered via a timer. The horse can first eat the first portion, while the second portion is held back. At the set time, the control unit releases the drop-down floor and the second portion slides down automatically, allowing the horse access to hay again.

The timer can be individually programmed and can be adjusted for each day. In addition, several trigger times can be set per day. This makes it possible to fill the hay dispenser multiple times and plan several feeding times without constantly having to reset the timer.

The hay dispenser is available in various power options. The 12V battery version already has an integrated battery level indicator. The battery has a run time of approximately 4–6 weeks, depending on usage and settings.

The Heutomat – well-thought-out feeding for every stable

The Heutomat from Heufresser is the ideal solution for anyone who wants to manage their feeding efficiently, horse-friendly, and reliably. It is based on the natural eating behavior of horses and ensures that hay is available in a controlled and evenly distributed manner throughout the day.

Inside the Heutomat, a slider operates, which is automatically opened and closed via a timer. This allows the nutrition to be precisely adapted to the horse's individual daily rhythm. A total of up to eight opening and eight closing times can be set per day, ensuring a continuous and needs-based supply.

Compact, robust, and flexible

Thanks to its compact and sturdy design, the Heutomat can be easily integrated even into smaller stable areas. With base dimensions of 70 × 60 cm and a height of 150 cm, it requires little space without restricting the horse's freedom of movement. At the same time, the robust construction ensures high durability in daily use.

Visually, the Heutomat harmonizes with different stable concepts through various available wood finishes. The system is powered by a standard 230V household power connection. The hay feeder was developed for daily use in the stable and combines functionality, safety, and easy handling. It enables clean, horse-friendly hay feeding and at the same time facilitates refilling.

Easy Refilling

Refilling the hay feeder is particularly straightforward: only one carabiner needs to be opened, after which the slow feeder can be folded upwards. This allows the hay to be filled in comfortably.

Depending on the hay structure, the hay feeder holds approx. 6–8 kg of hay.

Robust and Safe Material

The hay feeder is made of unbreakable and splinter-proof plastic and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The flexible material ensures additional safety and minimizes the risk of injury.

Sophisticated Safety Concept
