Tube connectors with grub screws
Our stainless steel tube connectors are used for secure and stable connection of the stainless steel frames. The integrated grub screws ensure a firm hold and a reliable construction.
To ensure a permanently secure connection, the grub screws should be regularly checked for tightness and retightened if necessary.
Note:
If the stainless steel connectors repeatedly come loose despite regular retightening, this may indicate an unsuitable mesh size of the hay net.
If the mesh size is not optimally adjusted to the horse's feeding behavior or the structure of the hay, strong pulling and tugging on the hay net can occur. The resulting forces are transferred to the frame and can cause the screws to loosen.
In this case, we recommend adjusting the mesh size to your horse's individual feeding behavior. An appropriate mesh size promotes calm and horse-friendly feed intake. Eating too coarsely can lead to long-term health disadvantages and also significantly increases the wear and tear of the hay net.

SafeGum
SafeGum is an elastic fastener for the secure and flexible mounting of hay nets and slow feeders. It equalizes tensile forces, reduces stress peaks, and ensures durable and material-friendly fastening.
A particular safety advantage of SafeGum is its function as a predetermined breaking point. Should a horse get caught in the hay net and exceptionally high tensile forces arise, SafeGum can yield as intended. This significantly reduces the risk of injury and creates an additional safety mechanism in an emergency.

Salt Cleanse
This spray disinfects the frog and sole of the hoof, helping to prevent and treat unpleasant odors and thrush. The active ingredients break down bacteria and fungi, promoting healthy hoof growth. Functions at a glance
The automatic feeder enables timed opening and closing of feeders and hay boxes. It is suitable for our models as well as for custom-built feeders or those from other manufacturers. The only prerequisite is a feeder or box with a lid.
Installation is straightforward and can be completed in a few simple steps. Opening and closing times can be individually set via the integrated 24-hour timer. The minimum switching interval is 30 minutes. In addition, a manual mode is available, allowing the feeder to be opened or closed at any time, regardless of the schedule.
Flexible power supply
The automatic system operates at a voltage of 12 volts, making it ideal for self-sufficient use with a car battery or a photovoltaic system. With a power consumption of only 10 watts during the opening and closing process, energy consumption is extremely low. Alternatively, the system can also be operated via an optional 230-volt power supply unit.
Safe and durable
The lid is opened by a powerful linear actuator that reliably moves lid weights of up to 25 kg. Closing is exclusively by the lid's own weight. This eliminates any risk of crushing or injury from an actively closing drive.

The Flexi-Kiste is a timed hay feeder with two separately controlled chambers. It is ideal for feeding hay as well as concentrate feed, such as hay cobs or mash.
The hay feeder is made from strong and robust screen printing material. This material is particularly well suited for feeding wet or steamed hay as well as moist feed like mash or hay cobs. Thanks to its coated surface, the box can be easily and hygienically washed out. There is also a drainage opening in the bottom through which feed residues can be easily rinsed out.
The control box reliably protects the technology from liquids and moisture. By default, it is installed on the right side, but can also be mounted on the left upon request. Due to the protected control box, the Flexi-Kiste can also be easily used outdoors in unprotected areas.
The timer can be programmed individually and adjusted for each day. Additionally, multiple trigger times can be set per day. This makes it possible to fill the Flexi-Kiste multiple times and plan several feeding times without having to constantly reset the timer.
The Flexi-Kiste is available in various power options. The 12V battery version already has an integrated battery level indicator. The battery has a runtime of approximately 4-6 weeks, depending on usage and settings.

Up to eight opening and eight closing times can be programmed daily. This allows natural feeding intervals to be replicated, feeding stress to be reduced, and the risk of feeding-related illnesses to be minimized. At the same time, it creates more calm in the herd and significantly relieves the horse owner in daily stable management.
Feeding spaces and drive
Depending on the version, the timed large bale feeder has three or four timed feeding sides. All sides are controlled simultaneously and each has its own motor. This design ensures reliable and long-lasting operation.

High-quality materials and robust construction
Every timed large bale feeder is carefully handcrafted in Germany. The construction consists of a stable KVH frame and high-quality larch wood and screen printing elements.
The exterior cladding can be individually made from screen printing plates or larch wood. The floor is made of robust screen printing material and allows for easy cleaning by sweeping or washing out.
Timed walls with safety concept
The timed walls consist of sturdy screen printing plates and are moved upwards by means of motors. When open, the walls disappear completely within the lower barrier and allow the horses free access to the hay.
When closed, the closing height is 170 cm. The walls intentionally do not close all the way to the roof. This serves as an important safety aspect and prevents the horses from getting trapped. The door side closes approx. 6cm lower due to the door frame.

Delivery and assembly
The timed large bale feeder is delivered by freight forwarder. The recipient must provide appropriate facilities for unloading on site. We recommend a vehicle with a fork length of at least 120 cm and a lifting capacity of at least 1.5 tons.
Shipping costs are calculated individually based on the delivery address. We would be happy to provide you with a non-binding offer.
The large bale feeder is largely pre-assembled upon delivery. Only the roof battens and the trapezoidal sheet metal need to be assembled on site. Detailed assembly instructions are included.
Upon request, we can carry out roof assembly on site for an additional charge.
