Artimud is a hoof kit. Its application protects the hoof from bacteria and fungi. Artimud is ideal for treating cracks in the white line or hoof fissures.

We see excellent results in the treatment of thrush or a rotten white line, as well as hollow hoof walls.

Due to its special consistency, Artimud stays in place for up to several days.

The application is very easy. Ideal also for use under padding, shoeing, adhesives or even with hoof boots.

Mounting Sleeve

The mounting sleeve serves to securely connect and guide your slow feeder. It is optionally available in stainless steel or aluminum and impresses with its robust and durable design.

If your horse regularly pushes or throws the mounting sleeve out of its holder, this may indicate that the slow feeder used is not optimally suited to the hay structure or your horse's feeding behavior. In this case, we recommend carefully reviewing the choice of slow feeder.

For additional hold and to prevent the mounting sleeve from unintentionally slipping out, our pull-out stop can be used as a practical safety device.

Ejection Stop

The ejection stop prevents the sleeve from being unintentionally pushed out or ejected by the horse. It ensures a secure hold and provides reliable fastening in daily use.

Installation is easy and allows for additional fixation of the sleeve without restricting its function.

Note:
If your horse regularly ejects the sleeve, this may indicate that the Slowfeeder used is not optimally suited to the hay structure or your horse's eating habits. In this case, we recommend carefully reviewing the selection of the Slowfeeder. A suitable Slowfeeder promotes calm and horse-appropriate feeding and reduces excessive strain on the entire system.

Aluminum Chew Guard

The aluminum chew guard reliably protects your hay box from gnawing, thus extending its lifespan. The set consists of 8 aluminum strips including suitable screws and is compatible with our standard hay box as well as the flat hay box.

The aluminum strips are mounted on the particularly exposed edges and offer effective protection against damage from gnawing on the box.

Note:
After mounting, we recommend slightly rounding the edges of the aluminum strips. This prevents sharp edges and minimizes the risk of injury. An old hoof rasp, for example, is suitable for rounding.

Fully automatic microprocessor-controlled battery charger with resuscitation mode and 6-stage charging characteristics.
