Our hay net frames are made from high-quality materials. The frame can be made of either aluminum or stainless steel.
The stainless steel version can be opened by loosening the stainless steel connectors. This allows the hay net to be replaced easily. We particularly recommend this for horses with respiratory diseases, as the hay nets can be washed regularly.
We exclusively use high-quality hay nets manufactured in Europe.
The correct choice of mesh size depends on both the hay structure and the individual feeding behavior of the horse. The appropriate mesh size is crucial for the functionality and longevity of the hay nets.
Please note that eating from our hay boxes is generally more demanding for horses than eating from a hanging hay net.
We therefore recommend choosing a larger mesh size initially and only reducing it after an acclimatization period.
We would be happy to advise you on choosing the appropriate mesh size. Please also take a look at our FAQs.
Please note that for hygienic reasons, used hay net frames cannot be exchanged.
Our high-quality replacement net is suitable for our standard hay boxes, as well as the hay chambers of the timed double hay box.
The robust workmanship ensures a long service life and is ideal for daily use in the stable or in the pasture.

Our slow feeder grids are made of high-quality plastic. The material is food-safe, break-proof, and shatterproof.
The plastic was deliberately chosen to be softer than the horses' tooth enamel, making it particularly gentle on teeth and gums.
The slow feeder grids are particularly suitable for horses with respiratory diseases, as nose rummaging in the hay is restricted, which can reduce dust intake.
Choosing the right hole size is crucial for the product's functionality. It should be selected to match the hay structure and the horse's individual feeding behavior.
We recommend starting with larger holes and only reducing the size after an acclimatization period.
We would be happy to advise you on selecting the appropriate hole size.
Please note that for hygienic reasons, slow feeder grids are excluded from exchange once used.
An incorrectly chosen hole size does not constitute a reason for complaint.
Ejection Stop
The ejection stop prevents the sleeve from being unintentionally pushed out or ejected by the horse. It ensures a secure hold and provides reliable fastening in daily use.
Installation is easy and allows for additional fixation of the sleeve without restricting its function.
Note:
If your horse regularly ejects the sleeve, this may indicate that the Slowfeeder used is not optimally suited to the hay structure or your horse's eating habits. In this case, we recommend carefully reviewing the selection of the Slowfeeder. A suitable Slowfeeder promotes calm and horse-appropriate feeding and reduces excessive strain on the entire system.
Hay net frame made to your desired dimensions, including net cut.
The dimensions you provide will be the pipe frame dimensions. This means that at least 3cm must be subtracted from the long side and 3cm from the short side. Firstly, the net frame should have some play, and secondly, the net itself must also be accounted for.

Mounting Sleeve
The mounting sleeve serves to securely connect and guide your slow feeder. It is optionally available in stainless steel or aluminum and impresses with its robust and durable design.
If your horse regularly pushes or throws the mounting sleeve out of its holder, this may indicate that the slow feeder used is not optimally suited to the hay structure or your horse's feeding behavior. In this case, we recommend carefully reviewing the choice of slow feeder.
For additional hold and to prevent the mounting sleeve from unintentionally slipping out, our pull-out stop can be used as a practical safety device.
Independent power supply for camping, in a garden shed, on a boat, or even as a backup power circuit at home? Our BIG E-Power batteries are exactly the right choice when it comes to ensuring a solid energy supply. Especially in combination with solar or wind power island systems, you can rely on full independence.
The AGM technology used makes particular sense in this context, as it offers an extremely long service life when used correctly. In addition, it is leak-proof and therefore flexibly usable, for example, in caravans or marine applications.
All benefits at a glance:
- Valve-regulated, sealed lead-acid battery
- Safe and reliable
- Good high-current properties
- Leak-proof and vibration-resistant
- Completely maintenance-free
- Environmentally friendly: BIG E-Power 99% recyclable
- High-quality robust battery casing

Fix Plus Retrofit Kit
The system impresses with its robust construction, high stability and long service life in daily use.
The Fix Plus system is designed for typical feeding stresses. However, if damage occurs, for example due to bending of individual components, this may indicate that the slow feeder used or the selected mesh size is not optimally suited to your horse's feeding behavior. In this case, we recommend carefully checking the system and the mesh size.
For horses with particularly vigorous or rough feeding behavior, we recommend our Fix Plus Spezial as an alternative. Thanks to the continuous sleeve, it offers even greater stability and is designed for higher loads.
Fully automatic microprocessor-controlled battery charger with resuscitation mode and 6-stage charging characteristics. Suitable for lead-acid batteries, in the form of wet-cell batteries (WET), gel batteries (gel-like electrolyte), AGM batteries (electrolyte in glass fiber fleece) and maintenance-free lead-acid batteries (MF).
The charger features advanced and efficient microprocessor-controlled charging. This includes fully automatic diagnostic, charging, and maintenance/charge retention functions. It is not necessary to remove or disconnect the battery to be charged from the vehicle. After manual selection of the battery charging voltage, the charger automatically checks the battery status and determines the individually required further charging steps. This enables optimal and gentle charging for the connected battery.
Key advantages
- Automatic fuse, overheat protection
- Short-circuit protection and reverse polarity protection
- With LCD display and backlight
- Housing: Protection class IP65 (jet-proof)
- suitable for AGM, wet, GEL batteries
